今日は日々の業務でよく使う英語で、取引先や同僚に「ちょっと確認で連絡してるんですが・・・」って言いたい時ありますよね？そんな時、
「Just want to make sure....」、や「Just want to follow up on」もいいですが、
「Just wanted to touch base with you on」を使うと、よりネイティブっぽく聞こえるかもしれません。
＜例文＞
I just want to touch base with you and see if you are available next week to sit down and talk about the on-going issue.
現在抱えている問題について、来週もしも都合が良ければ会って話がしたいのですが。
この「touch base with you」はビジネス英語では良く使うので覚えておくと便利です。
